After 4 years of silence, I’m here again to tell you about a fabulous day spent at Quinta de Sant’Ana! I thought a lot about what would the first post be, but instead of sharing something really recent, I knew I had a few things not so recent that I wanted to share. So maybe I will be doing something in between recent and not so recent.
So since the last time I wrote here… it’s like a whole different life passed by. I moved from this neighbourhood to my old neighbourhood, got pregnant, moved to Cascais, had a baby and bought a house with a garden and a fireplace.
So much has happened, my photography business was doing really well and among all the changes in my life, some things I just had to let go. But the truth is that I really miss blogging and having the time to read blogs, instead of just scrolling on Instagram. So here I am with a fresh new post… with pictures from last year!
Much has been said about 2020, so I’m not going to add more noise to it, but I remember this day as a bit of a normal day with friends. Last May Quinta de Sant’Ana opened their doors to welcome guests to wander around the flower garden and for a small wine tasting. I’ve shot a few weddings here and it’s always so beautiful, so being able to visit it on a saturday, with my family/friends on a year like 2020, after a long lockdown felt really good.
The weather was not amazing, but the light ended up being nice to capture all the beauty, mainly in the garden… I had a delightful time taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers. Enjoy the farm breeze!
Also I just checked that Quinta de Sant’Ana has vineyard picnic baskets to enjoy in the gardens and I just love that idea. How wonderful would it be to take one of those baskets and wander around the farm animals, the flowers and the vineyards, sit by a tree and have some delicious food with some really good wine? Take me there, please!
See you soon!
Claudia

I read less and less blogs, typically I will see a post on insta, click on the link and read it or through the newsletters ive kept. But theres something so simple as reading a blog post as opposed to everyone trying to compete for a like or square space. In a world everyone tries the be the same its more important than never to be authentic :) que quinta linda!!!
