uma das minhas grandes frustrações é que apesar de trabalhar em fotografia, tenho uma incrível falta de jeito para stylings e afins. sei apreciar, sei do que gosto, sei do que não acho piada… mas de repente, quando é para fazer qualquer coisa cá em casa para fotografar, parece que todo esse conhecimento foge a sete pés pela janela. e eu dou por mim a fazer um esforço para que saia alguma coisa de jeito. cá para mim digo “cada um é para o que nasce” e por isso deixo estas coisas para quem sabe e de forma simples (muito simples!) vou fazendo o que preciso! ainda que acredite que podemos aprender muitas coisas com as quais não nascemos, há coisas que queremos mais do que outras!
por isso aqui está! uma capa que cheira a fresco e tem uma personalidade muito arrojada. cá está berlin que veio vestir o meu iphone, que já se habituou a passear por lisboa a fotografar cantos e recantos! encomendei numa terça e uma semana exacta estava cá em casa, numa caixinha pequenina que coube na caixa de correio (que surpressa boa!). a qualidade parece boa e portanto, por mim o society6 está aprovadíssimo!
fazendo aqui uma avaliação mais aprofundada, terei de dizer que a capa não é nem das mais baratas ($35), nem a que vai proteger mais o telemóvel. na verdade, protege a parte de trás de riscos, o que é muito importante porque protege a lente. para a parte da frente é preciso arranjar outra solução, e para tal comprei um daqueles protectores quase adesivos transparentes. mas claro, espero bem que não me caia ao chão, porque nada destas coisas irá proteger o telemóvel.
ps. uma coisa simples seria ter o tecido passado a ferro, não era? pois…
one of my biggest frustrations is to know that though i make a living out of photography, some fields are just to difficult for me, like food photography and general stylings. i know what i like, i appreciate a good styling, nice colours, nice details, textures… but when i need to do something remotely similar to show something off, all that knowledge just runs out of the window! i just say to myself “ok, every one has its talents and this is not one of mine!”, and though i believe that we can learn things we are not naturally talented in, well, we want some things more than others, right?
so here’s what i have to share, my new case ordered from my designs shop on society6 and i wanted to write a little review about it. this is berlin and will now protect my iphone, which is already used to wander around lisbon, capturing its charming corners! so far, i’m both happy with its quality and how fast orders arrive from society6. but i also found out that when you order in europe, they ship from germany, so it’s kind of expected.
now, this ain’t an exactly cheap option ($35), nor the one that will protect your iphone the most. it will protect your lens and the whole back side from scratches, but you need something to protect the front side. i bought a plastic see-through “sticker”, that will protect from scratches as well. but i hope i don’t let it fall into the ground, because none of these will help! nevertheless, i’m quite happy and proud of it!
ps. i know, i know, ironing the fabric would make this a lot better!
