as promised i’ll reveal where i ate the best brownie in this city! remember my lunch date with mr twiggs a few weeks ago? well we went to a place where he usually goes right downtown lisbon. it’s a veggie place and an hidden gem! you need to either go by some really discreet door and narrow stairs up to the first floor on rua do carmo or take the elevator on merrell shop on rua áurea. the place is called grémio do carmo! it is small, it has a huge wood table in the middle and everyone just sits down to eat on the same table.
and then with an hipster twist, there’s a bike kind of shop on the same space… so the mood is really cool and refreshing!
this couch is something, isn’t it? oh and there are also these chairs by the windows for a cup of coffee (and a brownie, of course!), and you get a nice view over lisbon’s downtown and rossio! oh and then i just went to merrell shop and bought myself a pair of sneakers!
and that what you saw is the best brownie in town! it’s so delicious, chunky and intense! perfect to go with their coffee! so if you are up to a delicious veggie meal with a perfect dessert just head up to this place! you won’t regret it!

Perto do final do ano passado estive uma tarde inteira à conversa com uma amiga. Para nos acompanhar tínhamos queques de azeitonas e queijo feta, capuccino e os nossos diários gráficos. A comida é boa, o espaço é agradável e aquele sofá foi nosso toda a tarde (embora houvesse espaço para mais umas 3 pessoas à vontade!). Tenho de lá voltar. =)

bem quequer de azeitona e queijo feta são no mínimo curiosos!! e sim, imagino bem uma tarde ali muito bem passada! aquele sofá tem um ar confortável… uau! quem me dera tê-lo cá em casa para o cobrir de almofadas e umas mantas!! também vou voltar para mais uns lanches e almoços!
