hello there lovely friends, how are you doing today? the sun is shining so beautifully today, but it’s so cold! anyway, when i look outside all i can think of is to go outside with mr kobe and my camera to take lots and lots of pictures! this week’s outside wandering day will be friday, so i’ll have to wait until then! and today i want you to see something i found on etsy this week! i spent so much time redesigning the vintage styled shop that i also had the time to search for new sellers, as i was in need of beautiful things! and as i always love when i find joyful quotes, with a twist of humor, i chose emily mcdowell to be our guest today!
this is how she presents herself on etsy (i love the part where she says she smiles at dogs! i do that too!):
“i live in los angeles and i love to draw things. you can also find me working as a freelance advertising copywriter (think peggy olsen), pretending to go jogging, smiling at dogs, and trying to use up all the vegetables in the csa box. “
on her website she says that she loved to draw when she was a kid, then she got older and she got busy. fortunately, she found out that she still loves to draw and got herself less busy, so now she draws something everyday. i love her drawings, her choice of quotes, the colours she uses, the watercolour aspect… everything!
