hello there lovely friends, how are you? are you having a good sunday? i’m sorry to interrupt, but i just have an announcement to make. nothing too serious really, just something i’d like to share! so, i have a new blog (don’t you roll your eyes at me, please!). as i love film photography and lomography, i started a tumblr blog two years ago maybe or even less.
but i kept changing it and this weekend i decided that i wanted to be more serious about my dedication to film photography. and i always have a dilemma, which is kind of my need to put things in a different place according to their nature. so i figured out that most of you that read this blog and come here often, won’t be that interested in my ramblings about film or lomography. so each thing in its place, i created another blog on wordpress just for this purpose. i called it film summer days.
i’m being very serious and you may even consider it a new year resolution. so far i use film just for personal use, but i’m so inspired by so many photographers that work with film, and even include holgas in the bag like noah from feather love photography, that i really want to explore more and add this playful and magical tone to my work. feel free to follow me there as well! i already have a ton of topics ready to be written and shared, with several tips on lomography and my learning experience both on lomography and film photography. so if you are into these subjects, please join me on this new adventure!
by the way, this picture above was made with the holga, using some 2007 expired ilford fp4 film bought from ebay! i loved the fact that i can’t recall what this is… so strange, but so serene and whimsical too… i know it’s a double exposure and maybe there’s water there, along with some flowers. more will come on film summer days!
