well hello my dear friends, how are you doing? i’m finally back from nyc and at home! i have so much to share with you, from nyc and brooklyn… oh yes, we’ve been to brooklyn and loved it! i have shops to share, restaurants to share… new friends to share. but the truth is that after 18 days away from mr kobe, home and lisbon, i was anxious to come back. we were anxious to come back! we actually realized that 18 days away was a bit too much! who knew? who knew that i would feel that spending 18 days in nyc was too much? i love nyc, but i actually came back feeling that my love for lisbon was even deeper. i came back thinking that when i go back to nyc, i will choose a different time of the year, because christmas may be a little too much in nyc, because of all the crowd running around, either for shopping, either for sightseeing… and even being a tourist as well, sometimes tourists may get in the way, because some of them walk too slow!
(please notice my brand new warby parker glasses! yay!)
nyc is beautiful around christmas time, that is true, but i prefer walking around with less crowded sidewalks, and that is why we loved soho so much, oh and brooklyn! yes, brooklyn! so, let’s talk about christmas and new year’s eve! christmas was spent with my family there! 14 people around the table on christmas evening and 23 around the table on christmas day! then 4 days later we moved to brooklyn where we had rented a room and we met our friends marianna & armando, both sponsors of this blog. well, i had actually met them previously in lisbon in november, as armando is portuguese, and they came to visit his family in portugal and we had promised to meet again when we settle in brooklyn! well, what was next was unbelievable, because it was like we were old friends just hanging out! we had dinners out and in… we laughed, we drank wine, we laughed, we ate, explained a lot of the portuguese folk culture to marianna (and i think we laughed a lot here too!). we spent new year’s together and was such a great evening! well, guys we miss you so much, so these are some pictures specially for you! by the way, i love your second music on your photography website!
