hello there my friends, how are you doing today? feeling good after the weekend? i spent it alone with mr kobe in lisbon, and i took that time to work and to meet up with some friends! it was a very productive weekend actually, because not only i redesigned my portuguese portfolio blog, had a photo shoot and worked for better descriptions and photos on my etsy shop, as i had the time to edit so many photos i had waiting for me here. it felt really good to make all these things happen! do you ever feel this way too? like you worked a lot, but you don’t care a bit, because you see all the things you did! sop different from when you work a lot and feel like you did nothing! so as promised last friday i would be back today with some new york stories and today i shall bring you christmas! that simple, huh? yes… that simple!
though i had a slight difficulty in wandering around those touristic places like rockefeller center, 5th avenue, times square… because they were crowded, and i’ll most likely choose another time of the year to go to new york, christmas in the city is indeed magical. you just need to look up, keep your eyes open, take some music with you and just walk around the streets embracing that christmas is indeed one of the most beautiful holidays in the whole year.
you see fairy lights on each tree of the sidewalk, wreaths in every building, mistletoe on the sidewalks, red bows everywhere… and you can even find cars with a christmas wreath on the front. there are christmas trees selling on the sidewalks… and you just wish you could carry one yourself back home.
i may not fancy that rockefeller christmas tree that much, but new york knows how to welcome christmas… it sure does. and tomorrow we may have a trip to the museums! do you like museums?
p.s. have you come across this interview that lady ana pina did to me? i loved her selection of photos! thank you so much ana! it was such an honor to be in your place!

It looks so magical!!!! Love all your new photos, but I also believe it’s because you make them look special :)
It’s so nice to actually have the time to put our hands to work on what we’ve wanted to do!
This weekend I’ve managed to take some photos at Richmond Park, but the it was very cloudy, so I guess I will have to return another day
wish you a great week (and hopefully productive) ahead :)

I could practically smell the trees. What a nice pick-me-up during the post-holiday blues season.
And I love museums! Design*Sponge had a post today with a reference to homes being “personal museums.” Such an awesome concept.
Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Oh, how wonderful! I can just imagine the crowds, though! Next time you need to come to Copenhagen for Christmas. I am certain that you would absolutely LOVE it here, especially at Christmas!
