and it is one of my favourite things. staying in lisbon these last two weekends was delightful. i feel so fortunate to have someone by my side that i love and that we made the decision to adopt mr kobe in february. though we have no children, i believe that this also is one of the many concepts of family. a family of two + a dog. and i think that i can speak for everyone when i say that we are actually pretty happy together (to say at least!). during the weekend, we have established a routine. mr twiggs wakes up earlier to walk mr kobe, but then when they get back, he goes to bed and i get up to stay with mr kobe, feed him… and then when mr twiggs wakes up, takes his breakfast and we go out with mr kobe for a long walk. then comes lunch and the afternoon is just for the two of us, while mr kobe stays at home. during these walks i always take the chance to take my camera, either the film one or the digital. the last few walks also turned into fabulous opportunities to take pictures that are now available on {society6} and {etsy}. here are the news…
all these are available on etsy, for a more personalized shipping (i always add nice things on the bag!)… or on society6 for larger sizes and cheapest prices. and either way, taking a walk can make miracles… for the walk itself, for these kind of opportunities or just to be with that someone… taking a break from everything else for that moment!

Love the new photos!
Specially the second one. ;)
I’m so glad you’re happy!
I think most of us are and don’t even know it!

ohhhh I totally agree with that!!! I love our family as well, and I remember our days together: the 2 of us plus our cat. We felt like a family like never before. Now in London we quite feel our family is incomplete, because our Txu is not with us.
Hope you 3 are really happy together and I totally subscribe: there’s no price for the happiness of living with those you love, wake everyday and smile because you feel complete, you have a family :)

I really like the first photo!
One of the best things about the weekend (to me) it’s the little (or not so little) walks that we (at my home) do. It’s perfect to relax and recharge batteries. And if there’s a change to take pictures even better, since it’s a kind of a family hobby.

I’m happy to hear that you are happy with your family as it is now; it’s wonderful to be content with what you have. It sounds like you have established a lovely routine that provides sustenance for your soul, which I hope is true.
I agree with you that walks can turn into miracles, whether big or small. I took one yesterday, and even though I got a little lost, I chose to see it as a sort of adventure. In the end, I got to enjoy a gorgeous day and also further familiarized myself with the area. Just because I wasn’t on the path I originally intended did not mean that I wouldn’t get to my destination (back home!) eventually.
Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos with us!
