and i will be seeing you in just 49 days! yay! we finally did it and we purchased our tickets! i cannot believe that this is happening! i dreamed about this for so long… can you believe that in all my life, i never traveled along with my sweet-heart? i always traveled alone or with friends or family. and now, asides from going for the 4th time to my favorite city, which for itself is a reason to celebrate, going with mr twiggs makes my head fly away to the clouds!
new york is magical for me… it has its own particular charm, that i cannot find anywhere else in the world. say whatever you like and wish, but there is nothing in the world that will make me change my feelings towards this city. i know that is probably a huge cliche, but it is actually deeper than that. i feel at home, when i wander around the streets of new york. i feel like i belong there… that i have lived there or something. and no, i am not saying i believe in past lives, i think i do not even have a strong opinion about that. but since i was 6 years-old i dream about living there. as i grew up i even pictured what my apartment would look like. though i actually never left the country to work in another country (except angola for a few months), i still dream about that. though i feel very happy in lisbon. i know from my heart that if mr twiggs received an offer or took the chance to live abroad, i would pack my things in 5 minutes!
and now, i shall finally wander around once again in one of the most magical times in new york… christmas. and then we shall be back in the first days of january! i hope everything goes well and december 16th arrives really soon! and of course, as a photographer, being there will be one amazing opportunity to take pictures and more pictures, as the last time i was there… well… let’s say that my photography skills were not that good at the time! i will inspire myself on these from the amazing {irene suchocki} and perhaps i shall bring a whole new look for my {etsy shop}!

Yay! I’m very happy for you!
I’ve been to NYC once and it was during the Christmas holidays! The atmosphere was magic though I must admit the weather was awful and I kept longing for warm indoors places. Thanks God there are plenty of them and they are quite amazing too!
