society6 i mean! what is society6? well, society6 is a website that hosts thousands of artists by representing their art, and making it available for the final customer. as a photographer, this is a great way to make my work available for customers, without the handy part of printing and shipping the orders, because society6 does that for me. i just need to upload my highest quality files, define my profit or final price to the customer, and do my very best to promote my shop.
the part that i enjoy the less is that i never know who actually buys my work, and i cannot get in touch or send something special to that customer. who has been already my customer knows that i wrap everything with several details, adding hand-written thank you notes, sometimes a little extra goes as well… a discount for future orders… and, of course, through society6 i cannot do any of this.
anyway, i like to have my work available there, as it is available in larger sizes than i usual list on the etsy shops. however, i am thinking about listing larger sizes on etsy as well, as i think this will be a huge addition to the shop! some other news on my society6 shop are the iphone/ipod cases that you can see {here} & laptop skins that can be explored {here}!
