as you may know, last september i launched my {portfolio website}, this time written in portuguese, specifically to allow all potential customers to be aware of my work as a photographer, giving them the opportunity to schedule a photo session with me. as you may imagine, this was a huge step for me, as i wanted to do this for such a long time, but at the same time, doing this has come as a complete surprise on my professional path. for example, i still think that my own parents don’t see this as a real thing! they think it is a good thing… but are not visualizing the whole thing as a job itself.
of all the things i could have think of to do as a professional, being a photographer was never an idea or option. as a matter of fact, being someone creative was not even a way to describe myself. and in the end, it seemed that i was actually a creative person and everything was leading me towards photography, and making a living out of photography.
it has been one amazing experience… and since i started showing up on the craft fairs,it has been great to receive feedback about my work… live feedback… and to know those who like my work and support it. and, though it may seem logic, but it was not for me when i started, being in these craft fairs has been a huge help to spread the word about my work and making people think about me when they consider a photo session.
and because the feedback has been so delightful to hear and i feel that i have started a whole new chapter on this adventure of mine, i want to thank all those that have been so great about supporting my work and taking the time to say it or write it! so i decided to share a discount voucher for whoever wishes to schedule a photo session, until the end of the year.
all you need is to follow these {instructions} and you are ready to use this voucher! i cannot wait to tell your story through my lens… the images that illustrated this post were done during a photo session last week, just as the sun was setting. as you can imagine… i would love to have you in pictures like these… telling your story!
