random stories :: design changes or the fact that i keep getting bored too fast

September 19, 2011 filed under: celebrations, hello twiggs shop, lifestyle, random stories, shop

well hello, how are you and how was your weekend? as i welcome you here once again, in the beginning of a new week, i must make a few notes first about me… i have several issues about several things (don’t we all?) and asides from several issues, one of them is the design one. as i may have shared here, i get tired of seasons really fast. for example, i am tired of summer like since august or something! and concerning design the issue remains. i get tired of some things really fast. i don’t even know how the last header lasted for almost 6 months! phew! that was some kind of a record!

but i see this as a learning process. if we are clever minds, we are always learning. we keep our minds open to whatever new might come and embrace it or learn with it! and in this learning process… i learn how to change… i learn how to do things better! and my own taste regarding design changes as well. as i see new things and my own taste gets more refined (or not, some might think!). i know that now i am much more driven to what is simple, than all the fluffy things! so i would like to introduce the new look around here… and also two other things!

#1 i completely forgot the blog’s birthday! well, i thought it was on the 16th… and actually was on the 6th! so…

#2 to celebrate this, i want to give something to a very lucky person… and i want something from you! i need an opinion! i am searching for new things to feature my pictures on and i need your advice… as in customer advice! so the big question is…

>> what would you most likely buy for yourself or as a gift, if you were on a limited budget?

option 1 # pocket mirrors

option 2 # fridge magnets

option 3 # cotton totes

option 4 # badges/magnets

(photos featured on each product are just examples)

i would much appreciate your opinion on this and to give you an extra-motivation to do it… i will offer a {5×7 2012 calendar} to a very lucky reader!

this will last until next sunday (25th september), so i will expect lots of answers from you! all you need to do is…

#1 leave a comment with your option (choose only one)
#2 your mail address
#3 spread the word about it (optional | no extra credits given to this, it is just your free will, which i will thank with my most endearing personality!)

can i count with you on this?

If the requirment is a low buget state of mind I would say the pocket mirror. I think it’s more useful than the magnet or the badge. However I love the tote bag. Love it.

I would choose the tote. My refrigerator and all of my friends’ are not magnetic and I just don’t carry a pocket mirror, but that is just me! The tote, though, is perfect for groceries and I would love to have one!!

    Bjs e boa semana.

I don’t need one more but I always buy another. ;)
But if in a budget I would go for the magnet.
    Congratulations on your blog birthday.

Congratulations on 2 years!!! I love your photography and blog…but you must know that by now. :)
Okay, my two cents…I love the magnets (option 2). It would be most awesome on a fridge, inside a locker, on the interior dashboard of a car, the cubicles of workstations, and the list goes on! The pocket mirror is beautiful, but I would be afraid of it getting scratched up in my bag, and so it would be on my dresser. SO, the magnet wins. :)
These are a great idea and I hope you end up having these available.
    Ciao!!

I would definitely say the Pocket Mirror! Why? 1; it’s within my budget 2. I can enjoy it anytime, anywhere and it would make me smile and add some Poshness to my daily routine 3. I don’t wear jewelry that I buy since I make my own and I don’t wear buttons, really…but they are cute, too. 4. I kinda need a mirror anyway! 5. I think the size and quality would be a great display of your photography work. Sometimes canvas totes leave more to the imagination and take away from the quality and are harder to see. :)) ~MARY

I would pick #1 the pocket mirror. I like it because its functional. Although I do love the tote bag also. But out of the 2 I would go for the pocket mirror, partly because it’s so cute :)
    Thanks

I love all of them, but I vote for #3 Cotton Tote, so I could carry the bag with me at all time, to do some nice shopping. Once again congratulations for your birthday. You have been improving so much. It is a pleasure to read your blog and follow your photo works. I’m happy to know that know you are doing something you love!

parabéns pelo bloganiversário!!! you go girl!

Hola Claudia!
