ok, so this is not one of those inspirational moments in which we talk about life (again this conversation, yes!), but when i was editing this photo i had a few doubts. first because having seagulls flying in the skies is such a cliche… second because adding a texture to a photo of seagulls flying is double the cliche of the first reason! so, i looked at it for a couple of seconds (you thought i would say minutes, right?!) and started writing and this came out. now, let’s talk about what we do when in doubt. i am not one of those persons that look at sea waves and see answers and feel the peace within their hearts. i look at sea waves and i feel… nothing! ok, i can feel something if i see huge waves and see mick fanning surfing those waves, other than that, either it is good for me to go inside or not. standing in front of the sea never made me feel differently. so when in doubt… miss twiggs don’t even bother driving to the beach. now what i have found through these years was that whenever i was in doubt of something (and this is something deep, like real life decisions, paths to follow, you name it!), i would go to my balcony at night and look up, feeling the fresh breeze of the night. that, my friends, makes me feel different… at least a bit cold, which is already something! so in doubt… i will always look into the skies for an answer.
+ these {billboards in la} are such so cool… expensive way of making a point, but still cool;
+ when i mentioned beautiful winter dresses, black tights and flats, i was also considering {this look};
+ again… missoni for target, this time in {chevron flats}, should i say more?
+ i miss {india}…

Love it…you know, I had the same epiphany…I love photos of birds in the sky and love textures so why do I have to feel weird to embrace that?? Wrote about it here should you care to check it out… http://www.anikatoro.com/2011/06/note-to-hipster-embracing-poseur.html
