as i had told you last week, i was invited for a delightful event… ikea’s new catalogue presentation. i am a huge fan of ikea… i love their style, their prices and most of all, i like their attitude. i understand their philosophy and i think they have great marketing strategies. so, when i received the invitation, i was so thrilled, though i was not sure what would i find. well, it would be nice to meet some people and also sneak-peek into the news for 2011 & 2012 (yay!). the event was held in {mude} the fashion museum, right in the begining of {rua augusta}.
i loved meeting all those girls, exchanging ideas over several matters… and it was amazing to hear for the first time someone i did not know, that my blog was amazing. i do not mean to be pretentious. but as this is my full-time job now, it is always good & a pleasure to hear such lovely words by someone, that not being friends with me, had no obligation of saying so… which makes me think she was being honest (!). i also loved to know that one of my favourite {things} they have will be even cheaper this year, though i am not sure how much cheaper. and yes, i may not buy it this year either… until mr kobe grows a bit more, no money spent on furniture… if to be destroyed later! and with this i say goodbye… enjoy your day, my lovely readers!

Ah, o sofá… Eu queria um branquinho de 3 lugares, mas acho que vou antes forrar o meu, que é ligeiramente maior que o ektorp… Aliás, esta quarta-feira vou fazer uma visita relâmpago a Lisboa, e o Ikea é paragem obrigatória! bjs

mas que sorte! também gosto muito do ikea, principalmente pela sua filosofia e pelo que representa em termos de acessibilidade para a maioria das pessoas. eu, pessoalmente, não seria capaz de ter uma casa “ikea”, mas gosto muito de algumas peças e ideias.
quanto ao teu blog, também eu, que não te conheço te dou os parabéns! não conheço há muito tempo, mas do que tenho visto tenho gostado muito. agrada-me a frequência a variedade de temas e posts que fazes. parabéns! continua:)
