hello lovely readers, we are back from the weekend, right? what did you do on the weekend? did you have fun? how was the weather there where you live? phew, so many questions, so early in the day, right? well, i had a really good weekend and the weather was quite amazing… beach weather, if you know what i mean! i had one photo session with my beautiful nephew (results to be shared later) and did one of my favourite things… wandered with my camera… and found the most magical place… abandoned. though it was abandoned, i must confess that i am scared to death of huge dogs without leashes. and as i was hearing voices near this place, my heartbeat was racing, listening to every noise. i even walked out of there… but the photographer in me was not satisfied and i had to go back and keep taking pictures.
so, what do you think? isn’t this place intriguing? i find it really magical… i would love to go in and grab a chair… well, i must also confess that i loved the chairs and tables, and would love to take some home with me, but as i believe that this must belong to someone, i could never do it. but what frightened me more was when i got closer to the back door, that you can see in the front here on the last picture, something jumped in this couch, and i couldn’t see what it was. but it was not just a gecko, it was something bigger for sure.
after this walk… i went home, but before that i would have another encounter. in this area, because of the heat it is quite common to see snakes around. i had just seen a few on the roads already dead… but on saturday i faced one quite alive. i was exactly thinking that i could face one taking that shortcut. and in the end of that shortcut, i did. i felt so disgusted, i never had felt this way. she went away, i do not know who was more scared, if me or the thing, but it was really a repugnant thing. sorry if there is any snake lovers out there… i am not one of those, sorry. and now i must go… will be back, though for another {sneak-peek handmade pledge}… with avery special feature!

Great pictures! I love the abandoned house!! The colours inside are amazing.
It rained here all weekend, but that was okay. Rain is pretty in it’s own way too.
