lisbon stories :: the flea market

January 24, 2011 filed under: lisbon stories, photography, vintage

hello there friends, how was your weekend? cold… warm? in lisbon it was really really cold, even so… it did not stop me from keeping up with my plans. oh, it felt so good. some things were left behind though, as there were only 48 hours of weekend, but such pleasing time. i was able to change the blog a little bit, to wander in a flea market, to have lunch on one of my favourite winter spots in lisbon, to do some shopping for me (oh it felt so good… i haven’t been buying things for so, but so long…. i hardly remembered the feeling of getting something for ourselves), go to the theater (hello fellow friends that live here, if you haven’t seen {this} yet, i strongly advise you, it is brilliant, for my finnish friends… thank you, this story is by a fellow friend of yours), do some cooking and also some reading. i also discovered a few blogs, that have totally blown me away. there are so many talented people out there, i feel so happy to have them describing their lives… i believe i have a bit of voyeur inside of me… in a good way! reading about other people’s lives, also has the great effect of opening our minds to different point-of-view… different choices. and that has to be a good thing.

1) a lovely lilac teddy bear 2) books, books, books 3) buttons, buttons, buttons 4) vintage china 5) chevre & eggplant cereal sandwish + black tea in {here} 6) my favourite things 7) the end of a perfect day

Twiggs!!! I remembered you yesterday because I was watching the Cirque Du Soleil in TV and the show was about pierrots and harlequins and antiques, and the colors they used made me remember of you and your photos, the pastels, the neutral.. So, so beautiful!!!!
