because today is monday, because it is a wicked day for many i know, because it’s the beginning of a new week and we all need to freshen up (because it seems that summer has finally arrived!), let’s sit back, relax and enjoy this video while we think how to make our lives just a bit better. as many friends usually say, i am a lucky girl. i work as a freelancer, i work from home and i do what i love. i cannot complain about a thing, and actually i don’t feel like complaining.
the weight of my age though, makes me feel a lot of differences between my generation and this teenager and young adults generation. and something tells me that this gap between generations will be much bigger as time goes by. technology breakthroughs are faster than never, our lives are constantly changing and sometimes it seems that the world spins in 180 days instead of the usual 365. the babies seem to born knowing what to do with an iphone and we still remember the days there were no cell phones, phones were rotary, there was no internet, and computers were extremely expensive, huge, slow and using cassettes.
this video shows how things changed professionally, the demands and goals of each generation and above all, how important it is (and it doesn’t sound as dumb and childish as it used to) to be happy and to search for alternatives to the common way of working, with a 9 – 5pm job.

Bom Dia! {oh how I love saying these words!}
..and I was awaiting a reply similar to that, cause I had this little feeling somehow… you are very sweet to have thought of me and wish to encourage me during this phase of my life. Thank you :)
Warm hugs, with human emotions unfolding for just the realization that we are all people striving each one of us for what we think is best are so true… a tight, warm hug from me to you, too dear Claudia wishing you a very nice day ahead!
It’s raining here and it’s way too cloudy….there’s a heavy feeling… it’s super beautiful with all the trees and greenery outside getting bathed in pouring water, still the day is already marked emotional… I’m prepared for my departure in a couple of days, still it’s my return H e r e I’m already wishing for, at least right now.
The times approaching for me are gonna be very revealing, but I’ve promised myself to set love in my heart for what I do to unravel most of all. So that I create my own stable basis. Love is such a precious thing, and this we both know so well
xoxo

I loved it! It’s just like that and we’re caught in the middle….. we’re not baby boomers but people are going back to big families again and we’re becoming Millenials…. Yeah…I think I can say that I’m a Millenial X? Does that exist? :)
claudia says
I thought that Millennials were born after 2000, but after all there are theories that Millannials are those born after 1980, which I am. Well I was born in 1980 :) But I loved this, so inspiring!

OBRIGADA!!!
Beijinhos
