kinfolk flower potluck :: lisbon

do you remember this dinner? if you follow this blog, you probably do remember it. everything was so amazing and delicious, and though the very cold temperatures outside, inside was warm and cozy. we had good friends around the table, good food, good conversations, and that is what i call a lovely evening… enjoying ourselves around the table. well, you have probably heard this, but that amazing joint venture, de alma e coração and little upside down cake, will also join forces with quinta do arneiro and simply sebastião, to organize the very first kinfolk dinner in lisbon.

i am so so thrilled! and of course, i am joining them, as i could not miss this opportunity. will you join me as well?

you can read more about this event here! i would love to see you there! i cannot wait! two more weeks and it’s happening! we are suppose to take some flowers or greenery to share with each other, and i’m already planning on making something with the orange tree leaves and small flowers! they smell so good, that it would be a waste of money to buy some flowers, when i have these around on the backyard!

and hopefully spring will be around a little bit more on that day! i’m so tired of rain, i almost feel a depression peeking sometimes! rain, grey skies, poor light… oh tired! i want the sun, the flowers, the bright blue skies… i want to go outside and play with my dog for hours, make him run after me and jump as high as he can! i want to explore lisbon again with my cameras and play with the sun light. spring, wherever you are, can you please come back? i know you came in february for a little while, and then ran away! but we desperately need you around!
