hello there friends, so how are you doing? so as expected, we have the weekend knocking on our doors and it seems that this will be a good one! what are your plans for it? today it’s pretty cold and rainy, so if this continues, i can predict a cozy weekend ahead! however simple things this week has everything to do with being outside and embracing the changes that fall brings to our surroundings!
i have told you many times that i have two botanical gardens next to me, and one of the things that i appreciate more is visiting them on different times of the year to capture all the changes in the colours and textures along the year. fall is known to be a magical season for its warm oranges, red and yellows! though temperatures are colder, colours are indeed warmer!
the day had started with some heavy rain, but out of the blue, skies got clear crystal blue! it was a beautiful fall day! i had a meeting in the beginning of the afternoon and as my internet connection decided not to work, i went earlier to have time to visit the gardens and capture some fall magic! colours were so rich and intense! everything was either green, yellow or red!
and then when i was appreciating these beautiful red berries, what happened? yes, it started to rain like if suddenly the skies had changed their mind! so no more blue skies, but rain, a lot of rain for a long time! all i could do was run to hide below some thick bushes and wait for the rain to go away, if it was ever to go away! in the meantime my meeting hour was approaching and all i could think was the time that i didn’t have to explore more of this charming garden.
i ran a bit to hide under a very large tree and i finally saw some light at the end of the tunnel, as some blue skies weer starting to appear again. and yes, in 5 minutes i was able to wander around the gardens again! it was beautiful! then i met this huge guy below and i may have stalked him for a while! but he was so gorgeous and full of himself that i couldn’t resist!
and then i was stalked by this kitten who was running after me for a while! here he’s just playing like he doesn’t even care, because i’m looking towards him, so he’s not worried! as soon as i got up and walked away, he started running after me! i really thought i would bring a new friend to mr kobe, but he changed his mind! then again, it is much better to live in such a wide garden than in a much tinier house, right? and this was it! hope you have enjoyed this!
ps. for all my etsy shops fans (photography and posters), do not forget, there is a bogo sale going on until the end of the year! even if it’s not for christmas, you can always get yourself a present, as you buy one and you get another one for free!

hello nat, thank you so much for your feedback! i love all seasons and love the change from hot days to chillier ones, the change from summer mood to a cozier mood. but then after a while i get upset and start looking forward the next season! but yes, fall colours are so amazing! how can you resist to tall yellow trees or bushes filled with red berries or trees with red foliage? impressive how nature works!
