simple things // walking in the rain

hello good fellows, how are you doing? it’s friday, are you excited? i hope you have great plans for this weekend! i’ll be working tomorrow with a family photo session and i’m really excited about that! let’s see how the weather behaves! and speaking about weather, simple things is dedicated to rainy days. it’s been raining all week long and though i’m not much of a fan of rain when i have to be outside, sometimes even when it rains, i go out for a photo walk. sometimes my thrilling desire for a walk + photos is stronger than any rain! and of course, having a dog means that no matter the weather, i’ll be outside at least three times a day, every single day all year long.

so this wednesday i thought it would be nice to stroll around with my camera while i walked mr kobe! unfortunately it started raining exactly when i stepped out of the door, but i had a raincoat and tried to protect my camera the best i could (it is built to be in these kind of situations too, so…). enjoy the walk in the rain, you’ll see a much different light than yesterday of course…

oh windows and doors, always such a treat around here! asides from the windows themselves, with the pretty colours, weathered wood, the curtains always match this perfectly as it was styled to pretend to be old, but really charming! this blue door above used to be yellow! i think i have a picture of it around when it was yellow! it’s pretty too with this blue, though it’s obvious that it’s fresh paint and the yellow was already weathered!

mr kobe and his elegance and curiosity! these were all taken in a walk around my neighbourhood, i feel so fortunate to have all these rich details around to play with! this last door is really close to my house and i absolutely feel fascinated with its colour and glass! what a combination!
