hello there good friends, how are you doing? well, here i am after three whole days completely offline, due to our move! we have moved to our new house and we couldn’t be more excited… well mr twiggs could be a little bit more excited if he was here, because he had to travel this morning to amsterdam for professional reasons, and he was a bit sad for leaving on our first week, but it’s just for 4 days and he’ll have a lot of time to catch up on his new house!
so far, all i can say is if you ever move to a new house, please do not move close to the other one, unless is a really amazing house! the move will be so much harder this way! it’s close enough to walk (like two streets up our old house) and driving by car would be too much work, considering the construction work that is still going around, it would be even harder, so the company we hired for the furniture part did 70% of the work on friday and we did the rest during these three days. my back is killing me, i’m exhausted and it’s like i aged 20 years on a single weekend, considering the amount of pain and effort in picking up something from the floor. i’m really tired and i need to just lay down for a couple of days and sleep really well, so that i can go back to 31 year-old me!
but other than that, our house is quite amazing! i’m really proud and we feel so lucky for this blessing in our lives. it’s a two bedroom house, with another interior room, which is our own separate closet + it has a backyard! yay for all these things! and no, we still live in a building and in lisbon! it seems so rare to find these kind of houses! mr kobe has been thrilled exploring the backyard (and digging some occasional holes), we have grapes over our backyard that mr twiggs picked up yesterday! we plan on making some jam with them, as they are way too sweet to eat!
our first evening was so good, we were so tired that we ordered in and mr twiggs had bought some really nice wine and oporto wine for our first dinner. we ordered pasta from this place and we just talked about our plans for the future and hoped for nice things in our professional lives! i think i woke up the next morning with a slight hangover! but that was obvious, we were so tired and we drank a little bit, so… but it was really good wine! so here are some pictures from the backyard and a bit of the kitchen and living-room! more to come, when things start to fall in its place! and of course, today there are my favourite things in the whole world!
and now i know that i’m posting this way late into the day, but i had a maternity shoot today and i had no time whatsoever to post this sooner! but i also have other news (really fresh!), these sweet-hearts are already parents to a beautiful baby boy! he was born this evening! i am so proud of them! such a beautiful family!!! see you tomorrow folks!
