i know that i have shared several times a few photos from my home, but i can never say it enough about how much i love the light that comes into the living-room, specially during summer months. the sun rises in the kitchen and sets in the living-room, and the whole house has plenty of light, which i think is crucial for a home. it doesn’t have to have huge windows, just large enough to let the light in. and yesterday evening, the light was even more amazing. the only sad thing was the smell of fire burning in the air, coming from summer fires close to lisbon. it was too intense, i had never felt it this way. there was a strong smell in the air, and smoke was partially covering our view to the river.
i just grabbed my camera, set it to jpeg files and didn’t edit them, so you could see the beautiful light in its natural way. for the last one, i had to run, change lenses, to capture the vibrant orange light behind the tv antennas.
it was just perfect and sad at the same time. i’d love to keep sharing more of these instant moments from my daily life, if you don’t feel them as too much. let me know what you think ok? have a great tuesday my friends!
