hello lovely friends, how are you? looking forward for the weekend already? so am i, and with the weekend coming, vacation time will come faster as well! as i already mentioned several times, the blog will go into a lighter posting like last year. there was this kind of movement called “the august break”, in which we just post pictures we take that day or something like this. i’ll go through my archives and post random pictures with some kind of story! my only doubt will be if i’ll be able to keep with just one picture a day! not so sure about that! well, and then maybe on that last week of august the blog will be closed to maintenance and redesign! i’ll change a few things here and new features will be announced!
but let’s move on to today’s find, shall we? well, when i’m on etsy i’m drawn to the vintage things i find, particularly cameras! i love vintage cameras, and there are a few of them on my wishlist (like this, this and this). scandinavian objects are also some of my favourite, like those enamel pots. and we all know that vintage finds from france are always a treat to find, like the ones on this store or this one! but what i found today was so beautiful and it didn’t have anything to do with either france or the nordic countries, well it’s in the north but a whole different continent – vintage finds from russia! the shop is called isantiik and it’s filled with gorgeous treasures!
ok, we may have a camera here and there! but how about these? aren’t they amazing? i love every single one i placed on this post, from the blue lantern to the yellow clock, the camera or the sugar basin! the photos are really beautiful and clear, and objects seem to have such a charm for themselves, they tell a story… and ain’t that the irresistible character of vintage?
i could also have this camera, but before that one, there are others waiting on the list! but these are also beautiful objects for our homes, or in the event of you being a photographer, you can always use one or two as a prop! i can imagine a kid holding that blue lantern in the middle of the woods! this shop belongs to innar and evgeniya, but i can’t find much more information about them! but i’d love to know where they find these and what is their relationship with these vintage finds! they seem to be connected to a vintage club though! i searched for a while and read a bit about this blog and these people seem to breathe vintage objects! once again, it is the stories they tell and their charm through the years they’ve lived so far! make sure to visit this etsy shop for more vintage goodness!
