hello there, how are you doing? did you have a good weekend? do you celebrate easter? well, we don’t actually care much about this holiday, but we feel like we must be with our family on this holiday. and as mr twiggs’ parents live now by the sea, we drive there almost every weekend to relax (needless to say that mr kobe loves to be here). this weekend was no different, so we drove there friday after lunch! it was so good as it always is, because both me and my mother-in-law love to eat and we do enjoy to taste different red wines all the time, so in a few words weekends spent there are full of delicious food and tasteful wine (and now i’m thinking if you are imagining me as an alcoholic, but fear not my friends, everything is consumed in according proportions… well maybe food & desserts are not!!).
and as their home is both by the sea and also by countryside as well, it’s amazing to take long walks with mr kobe and to have my camera around all the time. i found beautiful details on the wild flowers and trees growing up by the farms and well… the beach by this time of the year is a delight for me, as it is bright and the sea has amazing colours, and if you go there by lunch time, you find no one, so it’s perfect!
going to a beach bar during easter sunday is not exactly my favourite thing in the whole world, but we managed to take a walk on the beach and it felt amazing, though the wind started to feel a bit cold in the end! i simply love these blue tones of the sea, when the sun starts to get warmer and the skies are even bluer! i cannot resist to create images that remind me of sweet summer dreams…
and how was your weekend, my friends?

ohh that’s so excellent, a weekend house to relax by the sea? How perfect is that!! Love all the photos, so full of light, they all look quite dreamy. It’s good to know that you had a nice long weekend :)
We don’t celebrate Easter in our house, my parents to, but as they are miles and miles away we can’t celebrate with them. It’s really the food what I miss the most as well as the sea.
I went to a coastal city to have a walk after 3 days in bed.
Welcome back and wish you a great week ahead

I love to see your view of the sea! It gets my mind all tangled to think that you look west to see the Atlantic…to me, that is the eastern ocean and when I look west, I see my dear Pacific. Oh but as long as they are wide and deep and blue, it makes no matter which one is which. Thanks for the lovely photos!
