hello there, how are you doing? after one morning cleaning things up around the house, this post is exactly what i needed! let me explain, i may have shared once or twice (or actually much more than that!) that we live on a very small house and though i’m good with that idea, when i start cleaning a room, it’s amazing how fast i start to scream at things and wishing for a bigger place! it’s also amazing how people think that living in a small house means much less to clean, therefore, so much easier to maintain. and ok, i can understand that, but there are other issues that actually influence the cleaning part, which is organization! my goodness, that is so hard sometimes! and during winter months it’s even more, due to all the huge coats around… and i’m “fortunate” to share this place with a mr twiggs that has a crush on coats!
so today i just wished that i could pause the week, do what i have to do around the house and then hit the play button to keep the week going! just for the blessing of having a day that doens’t count, so that i could clean and organize everything. and then with everything tidy i could finally start working in peace and harmony… and maybe i could get some of these storage bins (that for now don’t fit anywhere on this house) by jenna rose, but they are gorgeous!

i found this shop a while ago through a treasury, if i’m not mistaken and i fell in love by the fabrics, the handles, their design and the pictures themselves make me think of a countryside cottage. and i could use some days off on a countryside cottage on a far away country, with a fireplace. ok, i’m daydreaming! jenna rose is the mind and maker behind this shop on etsy and she does everything by her hand, starting by illustrations, screen-printing and sewing. she lives in canada with her husband and their dog!
“the jenna rose textile studio was founded by designer jenna fenwick in 2006 and is located in hamilton, ontario. each piece of cloth is hand screen printed in house using non-toxic waterbased pigments on natural and organic materials. our colours are all mixed and printed in small runs and each design is initially illustrated by hand. jenna holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from nscad university where her focus was screen printing and drawing. this collection is a reflection of her love for these processes and her passion for creating handmade and sustainable textiles.”

for more details on this talented lady you can read a full interview etsy did on her, as she was featured seller last january! other than that you have to visit her website, etsy shop, blog and also follow her work on facebook! and i’ll go look around once more to see if i can find a place for that tree house bucket, which is my favourite! and i may need to learn how to knit, so that i can have it beautifully filled like on that picture above!
