{weekend stories} :: and then i found myself on the ground

… oh yes… after years and years of absence of such humiliating situation, when almost completing my 31st year of life, i fell on the ground in the middle of the park. and then i almost cried, because my knee and toes were in pain… and my stockings were ripped… and i had to walk home at the slowest pace ever, along with mr twiggs and mr kobe… other than that, our sunday walk had everything to be a pretty walk… until i fell to the ground.

though we are not the most romantic couple in the world, i kind of like to celebrate some things, but mr twiggs is ok without any kind of celebration (oh men!), so we adjusted ourselves to this in order to find some balance. so what do we do? i just mention the special days and if it fits our schedule, we go out for dinner, if it doesn’t, well… we do that on another week! last year, when celebrating our one year together, we went out for sushi two days after, because that sushi dinner was a special dinner taking place at our favourite cocktail bar, and only happened from time to time.

this year… errrr, i mean yesterday, we didn’t do anything in particular (well, i fell!), but we had dinner with some friends on saturday on a new place for us and it was really a pleasant evening with good food, good wine and long talks about new york. so yesterday we just went for a walk with mr kobe, i grabbed my camera to catch little fall signs, like the leaves on the ground… and golden light on the grass at 4pm… me and mr kobe waiting for mr twiggs outside the pizza place… until i fell and then we went back home and mr kobe tried to walk himself (ah i’ll miss this boy in ny). and this was part of our weekend. christmas has arrived in our place, but i will share that later!
