friday i am in {love} with…

… ermenegildo zegna. now as you may know, i am not a fashion victim, not even close. however i like fashion, i like elegance and i like pretty clothes that make me look pretty, comfortable and unique. i dress zara… ironic for the unique part, right? i do not just dress zara, also h&m (who-hoo another bonus for uniqueness!), but above all i like to feel myself in what i am wearing, despite what is a trend or not. actually i tend not to follow some trends that suddenly invade every shop and street corner. i like clothes that feel good when you touch it, smell good when you dress it… with delicate details. and though i am a photographer, sometimes fashion photos do not call for my attention. but that wasn’t always like that… i used to love fashion top models in the 90’s and copied their style in the catwalk at home (yes, i did that!). my favourite was {helena christensen}.

but all this was to explain that fashion photography is not always on top of my list… but if i can recall one fashion house that always catches my attention with their models and photography is… {ermenegildo zegna}. not for women. for men. i loved their campaign with adrien brody a few years ago… and now with {ryan burns}, the elegance continues. it’s perfection in its raw state. black and white. a stunning light. a strong message. and gorgeous clothes. manhood with style and elegance.
