old books… really old books. today i bring you these. i bought these just for their looks on the flea market i mentioned {here}. for fours books i spent 2€/$2,85. i love their faded colours and every sign of aging. and their titles are also so romantic. though i do not intend to read any of them, i love that they talk about love. the two shown in the first picture, for you that do not know portuguese, one is called {love is not a sin} and the other {the romantic journey}.
+ i added more designs to my {poppies are red} shop, check the {buttons} & {cotton totes}!
+ i have shared my love about {i am dorkas}, and it is not just because she is a sponsor, she has beautiful handmade textiles & jewelry, and she has the most amazing line of small cotton bags to organize our luggage, perfect to separate ties, shoes, underwear… oh love!
+ this {delicious recipe} from the gorgeous {tina crespo}, who said photographers don’t know how to cook?
+ i keep on going with my {365 project} and yesterday this was the {photo for day 3}!

I read about 5 or 6 books a month, so buying books not intending to read them is somewhat weird to me!
Bu I love old books, specially if they have notes written on them, don’t know why!
I also love buying them at low prices, you can imagine why… 5 or 6 books a month, if I bought them fulled price (Portugal prices) I would go bankrupt no time!
Beautiful purchases though!

I like buying books also for decor. The hard back copies of readers digest look really nice as well. I like placing them on the floor with a small fluted vase on top. Or putting something like big ben clock on top of the books on a shelf. They give a very old vintage feel and have great stories.
