august break :: 18th

August 18, 2011 filed under: august break, blogs breaks, hello twiggs personal, photography

letting the sunshine come into our lives is one step closer to happiness! oh my god, i am this poetic today? no, this is not me! i like, love… admire all these optimistic quotes and insights on life, but i am not the kind of person who wants to ramble about this! but here is the deal! now that we are one step closer to the end of the year (shut up! don’t you say that!)… yes, you realize that september is right in front of us… and with september comes school, october brings the colder days and rainy ones as well… november brings thanksgiving day (for all my american friends!) and december… well you know the rest, my birthday, christmas and new year’s eve? what i mean is time flies and we should do something about all our plans for 2011! come on my friends, i know that you secretly wrote down or thought about a list for 2011! and as the end is near (and now she brings on sinatra to this blog!), it is time for some schedule and careful thinking! what have you done so far? what is left to do? letting the sun shine means bring the sun into your life… make something for yourself… and your dreams! not to mention that you will need new ones for 2012!

+ i forgot to mention here that lovely brittni from {papernstitch} wrote about my {tracing paper envelopes} on {oh, hello friend!};

+ have you seen the jewelry line create by jennifer hagler from {a merry mishap}? just lovely!

+ and have you seen the collection by {missoni} for target? i want that bike!

    aww! I thought you were very poetic! :-) So cute! I feel like the year is almost gone as well. I’m kind of excited because we bought tickets to go back to the States for Christmas, so we are counting down the days! Hope you are enjoying your break, my friend! Hugs!

    It’s OK to be poetic every once in awhile :) Time does seem to be slipping faster and faster…
