you know i love when design-makers know their way with photography, don’t you? having your item well presented and with a good photography means that you might have 90% more possibilities to have your products sold. i have witnessed some miracles when there is a good photography about a product. and of course, today is about that… photography + fashion. and now you ask, but isn’t it natural to have these very well matched? well, it is… but sometimes you need an extra effort to make it work. and this is about selling vintage clothes. and how to be creative. i liked the results.
{ramona west} is about all things vintage. marybeth murcia speaks about her label…
“ramona west is a carefully edited collection of vintage clothing and accessories from southern california, curated by designer and vintage enthusianst, marybeth murcia. each piece is hand picked for style and quality with a keen awareness of current trends. most of our pieces are professionally tailored to create the perfect proportions for a modern silhouette.”
just the other day i was saying to mr twiggs that the 80’s were this great decade for music and tv shows. maybe because i was born in 1980, maybe because the 80’s were actually that good… except for fashion (totally my own personal opinion). but on the other hand, there are some things about the late 70’s and 80’s that are actually pretty cool… these outfits by {ramona west} make me feel spring and summer in the air. i love their colours and i must confess that sometimes i could be a bit braver on the fashion thing… and try different outfits & colours. it would feel so good! well, and now i must go but i will be back! until then, you can explore marybeth’s new collection on {etsy} + {website} + {blog}! enjoy the colours!
