lisbon stories :: graça (the first story)

hi there, sweet fellows, how are you doing? oh this is a lovely tuesday as i spent the morning shipping orders… and there is such a sweet taste when you are preparing orders for your customers. and for what i have heard, customers appreciate all this care! by the way, have you signed up for the {newsletter}? there were awesome deals inside last week… that much that some customers could not believe that they could choose so much for free! but now, other than the orders i wanted to share my last photo-walk through lisbon. i actually have a story to go with this  photo-walk. this was not supposed to be just a photo-walk, but there was a handmade market to be visited as well! i was thrilled to see colours and meet some people in such a beautiful place, but as i am a bit distracted and very self-confident, i did not even checked the correct address. i thought i could find it easily… well, i could not. but this neighbourhood is not that huge, so it was supposed to be easy. it was not. well, i dedicated myself to capturing the neighbourhood’s details… and eventually when i got home, i understood why i had a hard time finding the handmade market… it was going to happen in july 30th… and not june 30th. there is always a reason, right? so, this is {graça}… near {alfama} & {castelo}.

on a sunny day these walks are something delicious… but try to get there really soon or on a not-that-hot summer day, because what can be a really beautiful and charming walk, may turn into a dreadful walk… and all you can think of is to sit down somewhere in the shade and drink something. oh almost forgot, you can do that here. i stopped in this viewpoint for a cup of coffee and a bottle of water, because the heat was really getting me!
