before starting on with my weekend, i just wanted to let you know about some news on the shops, as i mentioned them earlier on this {post}. one of the things i try to do is to learn from others (no, i am not saying i copy!), i just inspire myself on other photographers marketing strategies. as a customer and a visual person like myself, one of the things that i think it works, is to create collections for the customer. this way, not only we can create special discounts for whom buys more than one print, we can also create a specific set of prints we think match somehow. we can even tell a story. so i did that last week on my second shop {a lomo love affair}.
i hope you like these stories… it is always a nice way to create a certain mood on your room, as you well know! there will be more news in the meantime, just in time for the next newsletter in two weeks, so you better {sign up} for it, or else you will miss something really great! until then, do not forget to sneak-peek into the {poppies are red tote collection} before they are all sold out… more to come and already a few sold! so hurry to get yours!
ps. for those of you who are striving for your business as we spoke yesterday… you should hear this podcast with {brittni mehlhof} from {papernstitch} and {jennifer swift}. jennifer is raising money for her project about rain boots! and in two weeks she raised over $20.000 (and i contributed too!)! yes, that is right! watch the video {here}! it will make you jump with creativity! don’t just stand there! go and do something for your business!
