industrial desk lamps… yes, i think that’s it! i have re-decorated things a little bit in the living-room, so that i could have a working space that wouldn’t have to turn into meals’ space twice a day! so, now i have plenty space for my things, which will be better for my organization. a new printer is on the plans as well, so finally a little space for it as well! but i also need a desk lamp. i was thinking about something vintage, thrifted, flea-market style… industrial style… or maybe something brand new looking vintage!
1. olive desk lamp designed by thomas o’brien, photo by laura resen, via arkpad via american modern, 2.deco style gooseneck lamp by route 11 vintage via etsy, 3. vintage office industrial lamp by camelotia via etsy, 4. industrail lamp designed by marcus hay, photo by jonny valiant via arkpad via ad enero 2011 – espana, 5. the submissive desk lamp by dingaling via etsy, 6. industrial task table lamp by west elm
i might choose that one from {camelotia} as she is in portugal, so it might be easier and it is so beautiful and simple… matching what i have around! let’s just hope that desk lamp doesn’t get sold until then! i will be back with some delicious recipes with sylvie from {gourmande in the kitchen}… did you catch the last issue of {eating with sylvie}? don’t miss this one, if you like summer fruit!

You and me both!
I love industrial design.
I have one that my father saved from the garbage. In fact I have two. But the other is very common in my house, like the 3rd in your pictures.
The one he saved is the one I find most unusual. He thought it still worked. I thought what great design. It’s mine!!!
I must share a picture of it.
Great choices. Love. Love. Love.
