hello there lovely readers, how are you? any plans for today? thank you so much for your lovely comments on the last {post} about the new collection of {poppies are red} and about the opportunity to submit your work! today i was going through etsy in order to find something that inspired me enough to talk about today. and as usual, the search was not that long. i usually sneak-peek on my favourites to see if there is something really interesting! and on my favourites i had {alexandra grecco}. alexandra is a fashion designer… and she is deeply inspired by the 20’s and the 60’s.
alexandra grecco lives in brooklin, ny and she tries to create uniques pieces that along with comfort provide some flexibility and practical sense. other than that she seeks a whimsical, yet sexy feel to remind all the ladies to dress up… which she considers to be a bit lost in our schedules… busy busy schedules! i love the composition she creates and the fact that she uses film… being inspired by the 20’s and 60’s, which is already obvious through her images, the grainy feel of film adds a bit of romance… like in old movies.
alexandra grecco has a {blog}, {website} and of course, she is an {etsy seller}… she inspired me today… she made me think about whimsical rooms, with soft silks… and floral patterns… and film cameras. she has a video on her website in which she showcases her collection and it is brilliant. i want to dance now… and dream about the 70’s!
