and i am back! i am back to share a recipe with you. yes, today i have not a special guest, as i prepared this for lunch this week and thought i could share it with you. i hope you do not mind, i did not take a lot of pictures, but i will make it really simple, so that you can have all the information to make it on your own! so, we are having some real summer days here and we need to eat something light (though sometimes i forget and need mr twiggs to remind me of that!). other than that we also try to have a balanced diet with cereal, milk, eggs, meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, cheese… and as mr twiggs often complains about not eating enough fish, i thought of this.
what is the recipe?
spaghetti with seafood
what are the ingredients?
olive oil
minced garlic
spaghetti
courgette
mixture of seafood
dijon mustard
parsley
salt
how do we cook it?
stir some olive oil and minced garlic into a frying pan, let it cook a bit until the garlic turns very light golden. while you wait for this, slice the courgette and then stir it to the frying pan and let it cook for a minute or two. then stir in the seafood mixture, the dijon mustard and let it cook. on another pan, add some water and boil the spaghetti as you like it (7 – 9 minutes).
after everything is cooked, mix everything in a large bowl and add a bit of parsley on top!
if you like it, you can have it with a fresh white wine and you are good to go! happy friday my friends!
