but looking like 9! yes, it is true! hello my lovely friends, how are you doing? we are reaching the weekend and of course, i already feel this sort of joy! we are going to our usual {weekend gettaway place} and mr kobe will be able to play with his {friend}! but let’s talk about our celebration! mr kobe celebrates 4 months today, but… well, he looks nothing like 4.
he is definitely going to be huge! but now i can say that no matter the size, if you provide to your dog the training he needs, the size of the place where you live in is not that important. i walk with him every morning for one hour or more, he gets home, eats, drinks a lot of water and sleeps for two hours! then i go again, just for a few minutes for hygienic walk, by lunch time. he plays a bit with his toys, helps around with the cooking (well… it depends on what you consider helping!), then he eats, drinks water and sleeps for like three hours! and then by 5.30pm it is time to go out again and play! we go to a huge garden {here} and play catch and run for another hour! and then the rest of the day goes smoothly!
i love this big boy… he is so clever, he amazes me with so many things. four months old and he already asks to go outside, he is extremely alert to everything around, and has given proof that he will be an excellent guard dog, though he is really afraid of horses and still gets scared easily. he must have suffered from some kind of trauma in those first days, because going to the vet and having someone holding him is like if we were cutting his leg off. when we gave him a bath, we were trying to dry him and threw a beach towel over him, to try to catch him to dry and he yelped instantly like if he was suffering from something.
he is loosing his teeth, which is funny and stressful because if he looks cute without some teeth, i feel him anxious in pain due to his teeth. he already knew how to sit perfectly and i am teaching him to sit every time we are going to cross the road and to walk on the sidewalk without stepping into the road. he loves to jump into our bed, and when he gets away with it, he curls over himself so that he can look like already sleeping. and yes, we always laugh about that because he looks so darn cute and naughty by doing that!
he love to steal a lot of things, but mainly food, paper and stones. yes, he loves to steal stones from my mother-in-law’s garden to play with them! throws the stone to the air and catches it (go figure!). he often follows me around the house… even to the bathroom. sometimes he is sleeping, i go to the bathroom and he wakes up, goes to the bathroom and lays next to me and continues to sleep.
he loves his couch! yes, his couch. we need to buy a new one, but i think that we might keep this one for him! it is already chewed. anyway, we still sit there, but we are not there very often, so no one gets upset. he is changing his colour constantly. when we went to the shelter to bring him he had his head all covered in {black}… now he looks like a blong guy. and the couch has a lot of white and blonde fur.
i am often working on the living-room table and when i look back i see this face looking back at me. this was yesterday evening. he was sleepy but was staring at me! and yes, i can’t resist and often go to him to cuddle and hug him! and this is it, mr kobe is 4 months-old and weights 18kgs/40lbs.
