… ruffles. they are so sweet… and sometimes i can’t resist… not that i would fill my dresser with ruffles, nor my house. but i love seeing ruffles in small details. there is always some innocence associated with ruffles, right? that is also why you see so many babies dressed with huge ruffles panties.

you know, i am one of those girls, that i rather buy photography equipment, vintage cameras, rolls of film, or spend the money in developing those films… than buying dresses, shoes and bags. but on the other hand, i also love all those things, i am just not a fashion victim. i was about a year without buying anything for me… i had all what i needed, so there was no need to buy new things. i saved a lot of money from this attitude, but i also forgot the taste of buying something for me, that will embelish me or make me feel prettier. and that… is a wonderful feeling. sometimes we don’t need to spend a lot to feel good. and sometimes we need to buy some pretty thing for us, just for the pleasure in using something new that makes us feel good. yesterday was actually one of those days. and i felt amazing. and this is the way i am going to my weekend! i am going away for the weekend feeling really good about myself and a pretty girl. have a great friday and a delightful weekend, sweet friends! see you on monday!

I am just like you Miss Twiggs! I would much rather spend my money on vintage vases, chocolate and yarn… but every now and again it is nice to treat yourself and i would certainly consider treating myself to that yummy ruffled necklace… ;)
HHave a fabulous weekend my dear,

Oh Twiggs, I love this ruffle post! Such sweet summery colours too :) I know exactly what you mean about having to prioritise where you spend your money! It’s hard isn’t it, but it makes shopping so much sweeter when you finally get to do it, such a great feeling! Hope you had fun buying some nice things for yourself xx
