hello sweet friend, how are you doing today? how was your weekend? i hope it was a delightful one! i had a peaceful & also a romantic one. and to talk about romance… today i shall bring you a romantic blog as well. it is not about love itself, but love for precious and beautiful things. but before i get started, what are you thinking about those cool images i am sharing with you every morning? i am loving such a visual snippets! so, moving on to romance. why romance? have you read anything from {79 ideas}?
radostina is a friend and a graphic designer. she gathers in her blog the most amazing ideas about design and interior styling. her style is romantic, floral and delicate. but let’s hear from radostina herself, shall we?
“the name of the blog… i think that the whole story with the name is actually boring. when i started blogging i had searched for some information on the internet about what a good blog name is. i found a list with advices – it was something like “10 things that you have to do when you start a blog” and there was written that blog names with numbers are usually attractive simply because the number is remembered easier than a word. so i decided to follow the advice. but there was another problem i thought that a single digit number will be too boring and two digit numbers will be too much. anyway at the end i my husband’s favorite number – 7 and Iicombined it with my favorite number 9. the other well known fact about me is that i really have thousands ideas in my head all the time so… that’s how “79 Ideas” was born!”
“how i usually read blogs… do you know andy warhol’s quote “i never read i just look at pictures”… actually it perfectly describes me when i visit blogs. there are so many good blogs out there that if i have to read every single one of them from top to bottom i will not have enough time to breath.”
“my goals… when i started… i wanted to have at least one additional reader except my mum! actually i didn’t have an exact idea what blogging was and what i wanted to achieve. i remember how happy i was when i received my first comment!
my aims now… i have to admit that before starting my blog i was running in a circle, unhappy with my life going from work to home and again, and again. although being a graphic designer by day i have quite some challenges at work, but this simply wasn’t enough for me. my blog woke me up and made me do something new with my life. i learned how to make better pictures – ah if you see my first post you will start to laugh out loud! actually my blog pushed me to be a lot more creative. and i have to admit that all these talented people i write about on {79 Ideas} are inspiring me a lot and are making me think, create, innovate… just do something myself.”
aren’t these beautiful? and the ideas? i loved the fact taht radostina openly confessed that when she started blogging, she didn’t have a clue about what she wanted… or wished for. and i believe that we all start that way. without a clue. well, radostina has a beautiful blog, filled with amazing photography, just like these from {lisa warninger}. asides from the blog, she has created an exquisite and dreamy {magazine} that even made its way to {decor8}, and that as you may know is quite an honor! so, if you have a bit of time, do read (or just swoon with her finds!) her {blog}!
