hello hello my lovely friends! how are you feeling today? have you been watching the royal wedding? oh i must confess that i watched it and pretty much loved kate’s dress! i think she is so sweet and beautiful… and the abbey looked amazing with those trees inside!! well, after the dress, the other secret was the food they would serve and food is exactly what brings me here! well, it has been quite a while since i featured a recipe, right? this is one delicious feature but sometimes it gets hard to find someone to share a recipe, but i can say that i was thrilled to find out today’s guest!
i found her blog, because she mentioned mine and when i jumped to it i was delighted! a portuguese blog… a blog about food. and stunning and stylish food photography! i had to invite her! this lady knows her way around the kitchen and her camera! her name is diana (the perfect name for today, don’t you think?)… let’s see what she prepared for us!
how do we bake it?
preheat the oven to 180ºC. grease and flour a loaf tin. mix all the dry ingredients and make a well in the centre of those ingredients. add milk, eggs and vanilla. stir everything until combined.
fold the melted butter but do not overmix. pour the batter in the tin and bake in the preheated oven, wait until the loaf is golden (about 45 minutes). remove from the oven and allow to cool in its tin for 5 minutes! serve with greek yogurt and sliced strawberries.
what do you think? mouth wattering already? i can see this with a cup of coffee after lunch or in the middle of the afternoon… or for breakfast! diana is the girl behind {in the mood for food} blog and she has really simple recipes and delicious photography to go with those recipes. so if you need a dip of inspiration, please take this advice into your consideration and visit her blog! you will not regret it!
