hello there lovely friends, how are you doing today? i hope you are having a great thursday! i had such a busy morning that even writing this post is being done like if someone was chasing me (slow down ms twiggs, slow down!). well, i had a busy morning shipping some orders (yay, 55 etsy sales so far!) and arranging things to spend a lovely long weekend away from lisbon. but before i go, i wanted to make a round-up about one thing i have been doing and have shared it before… guest-blogging.
guest-blogging is quite a responsability… someone asked you or accepted you to write for their, which usually is a very personal thing, even if about design only and if you do not share a single personal information, it is a huge deal. it means trust. and i wanted to make a round-up of the stories i have been writing for {indie fixx}.
{jen} is a very nice gal and she has accpeted me as one of her guest-bloggers, which is a great honor for me and because of that, i also wanted to say a public thank you for the opportunity. so, if you are a creative person, if you need just a little push to start your business… you can find interesting tips on what i have been writing. i chose the name for this feature {it’s up to you!} exactly to become a responsability for whoever reads those stories. because that push that we all need… it is only up to us. we can receive some inspiration from others, but we need to step forward and start doing it!
the first story was about {creativity & inspiration}… we all feel a bit bumped sometimes, so i share some advices to get over that bump… and to think about creativity as love. curious? you can read the whole story {here}!
the second story was about that thing we all love and hate at the same time… {time}. it is never enough. but just like jackson brown once said “don’t say you don’t have enough time. you have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to helen keller, pasteur, michaelangelo, mother teresa, leonardo da vinci, thomas jefferson and albert einstein!” so… get up and start doing something about it. this story is filled with tips and even one easy way to separate what is urgent from what is important… no, they are not the same! read it {here}!
the third story will be published tomorrow and i am so proud of it… not that i am not proud of the other stories, but this one produced a special pleasure while writing it. it is about photography. now that i had covered creativity and how to manage time… you may have already your product to show to others and you need to show it properly… so, a few tips for you tomorrow on {indie fixx}… with lots of pictures to compare results! i will wait there for you!
