hello there friends, how are you? i am doing fine, thank you for asking!!! i am writing this, and mr kobe is sleeping like a rock on the couch! we really tried to not let him sleep there, but it feels so good to have him when we are there! as long as he doesn’t byte! man this puppy has some fearful canines and he is not even 3 months old! have you ever had problems with your dogs? what did you do? he really has to learn not to byte… well, moving on, i have other news for you! i have made it! i have finally got the right batteries for my yashica! and i have already been taking some pictures around with it! i can’t wait to see the results! today i will wander around my neighbourhood for a while to take more pictures! moving on again… today i was browsing etsy to find an interesting shop and i stopped when i hit this one… just look at this name: the blue balloon! isn’t this fabulous? i love it… and love it even more when i saw the pictures that show the products! this lady knows her way around photography!
“my name is marie bee. i am a self taught photographer and jewelry designer, dwelling a few blocks from gorgeous lake michigan, in milwaukee, wisconsin with my drummer boy husband, tiny drummer boy son and our calico cat. i’m 1/4 south korean and 3/4 french/german. i have a strong affinity for things italian, as my mother was adopted by my grandparents, l & c Busalacchi, when she was a wee babe.”
“i am mama bee to a beautiful baby boy, born january 1, 2010. shortly prior to his birth, i discovered a new love for creating jewelry and other pretty trinkets. i kept myself busy in the few months before his birth, working on and experimenting with pieces for my shop.”
“i’ve learned that i can’t confine myself to just one medium when it comes to my jewelry- i create pieces using anything from my own tiny photographs to scraps of brass tubing, to vintage odds and ends to pretty beads. a common recurring adjective i hear regarding my pieces and my shop is nostalgic; i love that, and take it as a compliment.”
“in addition to trinket making, i also enjoy dabbling a bit in the world of papery goods, using original photographs, stamps and my gocco press.”
i have several pieces of jewelry on my bedroom, that a tree branch painted in white is holding… at least necklaces is something i have a lot. however it is interesting because i hardly use them. when i worked in a corporate environment i used them everyday. necklaces or earrings… never both. i always felt like a christmas tree if i wore both. but nevertheless i love seeing this kind of jewelry… specially with such nostalgic and feminine photography. i believe that for a woman… it makes us want to wear that piece. we are easy, but we cannot pass beautiful things like these… can we? you can find {the blue balloon} etsy shop {here} and even read her {blog}!

i love your blog! i have so much work to do and yet i cant tear myself away, been going through the archives for ages now… ps, its normal for puppies to bite a lot, and he will lose those shart little teeth very soon, to be replaced by his adult teeth which are not so painful. He will keep trying to bite until hes about a year, but you can teach him not to, by telling him “NO!” when he bites, and then stop playing with him for a few minutes. if you are consistent he will learn quickly that biting makes you upset and makes you not play with him, and he will stop. Have patience good luck! having a dog is the best best thing ever.
