hello there! how are you? feeling good? we are in the middle of the week… and so far so good… yesterday i made a few changes around the house and it is amazing how things can be changed around a little bit and suddenly your house seems a different one in that instance, don’t you think? things do not get perfect, but… if they look different and you like it that way… it seems like a new home! so, today is our {wednesdays on etsy} day… and i have a different feature for you. not that i am not going to share something, but instead of a intro about the artist and a few images of a beautiful work… an interview. this lady is a friend… a very dear friend. an adventurous one. and talented as well. i have written about her {here} & {here}… but today i will do it again. tina fussell. american. living in denmark. mother of three. wife. crafter. blogger. traveler.
hello there! how are you feeling today? tell me… who are you? i am the traveling mama, blog author of {flying house}, wife, mother of three, language student, and co-leader of our creative and restless, traveling tribe.
hum… now i have a few questions that might be different… but what are you proud of? most recently i have been so proud of how well my husband and kids have accepted and adapted to their new home in denmark. we, as a family, are all learning danish and seeing them all try so hard pushes me to keep at it too!
do you know something… i will meet your best friend in a while… what could he/she say to me about you? my best friend is my husband, so knowing his sense of humor he would probably say something silly first like, “she bakes really good cookies and is my greek goddess.” But if you luck out and find him in a rare reflective mood he might say that i am passionate, caring, compassionate, protective, loyal, and a crazy blend of modern, classic, elegant, and fun. (that is what he told me when i asked him what he would say!)
imagine that it is 1985… what are you doing? i’m six years old with my two front teeth missing and my hair chopped off because my best friend got her long hair cut and i thought it was so cool!
in three words… can you describe me your work? clean. simple. modern.
let’s say i am a potential buyer… why should i buy from you? i strive to only produce products that i myself use and want… and of course i only want the best for myself and my customers!
what would be your next step as an artist? i’ve been trying to reach far beyond my comfort zones and not only take better photos, but also style them better.
what is your own favorite piece of art? the photos of my family… that is the art that i cannot live without!
and this was {tina fussell} for today’s feature on etsy sellers! i think that these rings and brooches are so lovely and adorable. i love the soft colours tina chose for her jewelry pieces! i would also strongly advise you in exploring her {blog}, because it is delightful. asides from sharing her adventures as a traveling tribe in a foreign country, she also explores her surroundings and makes us want to visit denmark like… tomorrow! you could read her {shop 52} project! so… i am going to have some lunch now and will be back for some juicy feature… a new one!!!
