small business snippets

March 10, 2011 filed under: branding, business, shop

… no, not those treasuries… my treasuries! i am so happy because today i got on my mail the last things i was waiting for to provide a better customer service… and by this i say some tenderness when shipping my prints. a few days ago i mentioned that i was wondering about how to improve concerning customer service and that i was making some decisions. so i would love to share those decisions with you. cool?

so… what do i have to ship {a place for twiggs} prints?

– glassine bags for 5×7 prints
– crystal bags for 8×10 prints
– a black pencil with {a place for twiggs} printed
– a mini card from {a place for twiggs}
– dusty pink japanese masking tape to close the bags

now… the images!

i do not want to sound pretencious… but i looooove my mini cards! they are so cute! and i must be honest and true to myself, i really like the selection i made. why choose 100 cards of the same picture? choose several, this way you can even surprise your customers that come back!

oh there is a theory that spending money in business cards is actually wasting money. but come on… they are cute!but i know, there is always a chance they will end up being tossed out (oh… scary thing to do to such cute cards!), but i am also sending a black pencil. so that can be useful and this way… {a place for twiggs} will be in their home for quite a while! also there will be news on the shop soon, but for now you can sneak-peek into the new {size} from mrs olive green! she is a rocking star! will share more tomorrow! see you soon lovelies!

until then… why not also go through the new brand issue of {poppytalk handmade} for this month? always such a delight!

    They look gorgeous ! Small is cute definitely.
    Do you use a provider/printer or your own printer ?
    I struggle to find someone to print my photographs on cards (quality and time of delivery)
    If you have any tips that would be great (will understand if you prefer not to)
    Cheers,
    Catherine

    impressed! you picked some real good ones. don’t you LOVE the Moo cards? I got some about a month ago through Etsy and I love how they’re satin matte, a little thick, and very sturdy. any customer would be so happy to receive such a lovely package :) well done
