hello there friends! how are you doing? it is thursday! happy you? happy me definitely! for many reasons… but first because tomorrow is friday and i will have a few men from ikea bringing our new bedroom furniture (yay!!!) i can’t wait to finally have a decent bed, mattress and wardrobe… with enough space for two! and another reason to be happy is because tomorrow we will go again away for the weekend, and we will leave by 5pm for a beach restaurant opening… with mr kobe, and all this makes me a very happy girl!
well… another thing i wanted to share with you is that today i am a guest over {porridge}. my friend toni weber, who happens to be an excellent {photographer} as well, asked a few friends to feature some topics on photography. these topics include lighting, composition, photo styling… and many others of great interest. i was a happy lady when i received her invitation and suggested a different topic… that she gladly called {creating art with a point-and-shoot camera}. first because i own one. second because though many photographers will call it a crappy camera ( and i am aware of all her flaws and limitations) it is the only digital i own. therefore, i needed to explore all what she could do, in order to make my best out of it. so… if you also have a point-and-shoot… be my guest and jump to it for a reading.

This is a great post! For ages I had a little canon p&s, before I fell back in love with film and I used to take some great pics with it! In fact, I so rarely use my big dslr these days, if I want to take a beautiful picture I use film and if I want a snapshot my little canon is always in my bag and serves me well!
It’s not about what you gear you own, it’s about creating beauty with what you have at your disposal.
