so i am back again… and also as usual with some etsy stories. first as a customer and then as a seller. well, a few weeks ago, right when i interviewed this {lady}, i was browsing through her shop and could not help myself. i had to order something. and i chose a stunning print she has of a vintage beetle… just like {mrs olive green}, but in orange!
do you recognize it? yes, it belongs to miss abby powell thompson from {abby try again}. she named it {dream car}… how endearing is that? i loved receiving this on my mail, also because abby fills the package with goodies… from sweet mini cards (that encouraged me even more to produce my own), she also gave another 5×7 print ({you’ve always been my favourite} on the back), two bookmarks and a postcard. i love receiving these surprises on my mail! but who doesn’t? well, reading her blog today, also inspired me for another gesture.
we all have been quite worried and impressed by what has been going on in japan. i can’t imagine what it must feel like to see your home, family, friends, city… country be completely devastated with such tragedy. so in order to help, and inspired by {abby’s gesture}, i will be donating 20% of my sales on {a place for twiggs} etsy shop during this month to red cross to help japan.
you can also donate {here}!
one other thing that i completely forgot to mention last week when sharing the {etsy treasuries} last week, was something about the pencils. i was so happy with the mini cards & postcards results that i just mentioned them, leaving you wit nothing else than a reference to them. so in order to compensate the lack of information, first i must thank anabela from {fieldguided} for the inspiration and for letting me know where she got hers. she was a real sweet girl! i really need to bring her here! then i got the pencils {here}!
can i ramble just a bit more? i just wanted to let you know that there are set of postcards on the {etsy shop} that you probably will not want to miss! one of the {sets} was already sold, but there are three more…
and this is it, now i am leaving! have a wonderful tuesday my friends! please make sure you sneak-peek my friend éadaoin’s blog on {city of blackbirds} as she is having a celebration giveaway!
