hello lovely friends, doing fine today? we are close to reach the weekend, so many of you must be feeling just thrilled! i am too actually! saturday we are going to the vet for the first time with kobe and i can’t wait! oh i just wanted to give feedback from my search for batteries for my yashica. ok, now this is starting to be ridiculous, because i can’t find a battery that actually fits inside. so far i have bought one on my usual photography lab… but completely blind “oh can i have that battery please? it seems to fit! (no voltage idea at this point!)… oh man, it doesn’t fit!”… then yesterday, sure of myself… then again… wrong! i just ordered {this} one based on the information from the manual. can you please send me good vibes over here? thank you!
moving on, today i wanted to share with you another brilliant sponsor of {a place for twiggs}… i got to know jan’s work through {tina fussell}, because she is on my circle on etsy (do you use circles? what do you think of them? i love this idea! i find so many interesting shops through my contacts on circle!) and by coincidence, jan contacated me a few days later asking to be a sponsor! i was so honoured! jan’s work is stunning… colourful… modern… vintage… it’s a matter of restyle!
hello there! how are you feeling today? tell me. who are you? hi there! i’m feeling fine, but also a bit busy as always. i’m Jan and i’m a graphic designer/photographer living in historical city named olomouc located in czech republic.
hum. now i have a few questions that might be different. but what are you proud of? i’m proud of me because i finaly kicked myself to open my etsy shop and that it is looks like people like my work.
do you know something? i will meet your best friend in a while. what could he/she say to me about you? probably that i have special sense of humour and that i often complain about something, hehe!!
imagine that it is 1985. what are you doing? i was only 2yrs old so probably nothing special… but if i were maybe 10, i would be watching transformers, tmnt, gi joe, star wars…all day long, plus play with tons of lego bricks!
in three words. can you describe me your work? coulourful retro love
let’s say i am a potential buyer. why should i buy from you? because you like nice colurs, you want to give a nice present to someone you like, you love mid century modern design or you just searching for some nice decor for your home.
what would be your next step as an artist? i would like to do something by hand realy – like gouache painting etc, but i suck at it so i will need some more time…
what is your own favorite piece of art? i never realy thought about it – i like my scandinavian design inspired prints as i’m collector of that stuff and it was impulse to start doing those prints.
don’t you just love these posters? oh i would fill my house with several of these! two on my living room, in order to change {these} and i would love this {one} on my kitchen! you can find jan’s etsy shop {here}, and he also has a {blog} & {facebook}… please… do check his {flat}… gorgeous! and this was it for now!
