hello sweet friends, how are you doing? whow, you have been such a supportive crowd! thank you all so much for your kind words! i keep thinking and thinking about ideas and i bet that you all understand when i say that i keep thinking about finding {that} good idea… my {harry potter}! well, let us see what the future has for me, shall we? but until the future does not arrive, i thought that this would be a wonderful week to share a little more about the lovely artists i have for sponsors here. i might change that name actually… sponsor is really common name, i must find another one! when i first published {this} announcing that i would start an advertising campaign in 2011, one sweet lady was the first one to say “hear! hear! i want to be a part of that!” oh happy meeeee! do you know when you launch something and then you feel a bit anxious to see how people react? exactly! but with no further ado, let’s get to meet… laura evans.
and to present this lovely lady… one very funny & interesting interview… shall we?
hello there! how are you feeling today? tell me… who are you? i feel {fat}… no joke like a heffalump! but other than that doing good… just tired. i’m a military wife, photographer & mother-to-be (hense the fat thing i have going on)!
hum… now i have a few questions that might be different… but what are you proud of? i’m proud of my husband … for what he does & the life he chose. i’m proud of myself for finally feeling like maybe i’m ready to do my photography full time, to push my own boundaries & step away from the comfort zone.
do you know something… I will meet your best friend in a while… what could he/she say to me about you? haha anything my husband says is a lie of the big fat stinky kind! but my best friend would tell you i’m honest, way too kind for my own good, bad at taking care of myself, & spend half my life on another pretty shinier planet! she’d also tell you know i need to quit my stupid day job & take photos fall time. there are many many other things she could tell you but those are best left to margaritas, long lunches & flight lines runs!
imagine that it is 1985… what are you doing? trying to figure out which penny sweets to buy with my pocket money &/or picking a scab (i still love penny sweets & am just as accident prone now as i was then)!
in three words… can you describe me your work. everything i am.
let’s say I am a potential buyer… why should i buy from you? something that speaks to you, that leaves you wondering
what would be your next step as an artist? leaving my day job… taking pretty pictures full time… putting together a press packet… showcasing my work more… this is a long long list by the way!
what is your own favorite piece of art? honestly i don’t have a favourite … what i love changes on a daily basis depending on what mood i’m in, what’s going on in my life & the significance behind the image. I love so many different things for so many different reasons. I’d rather know what your favourite is & why!
well, in order to answer laura’s question… i have to be honest i do not have one favourite from her… but maybe this {paris collection} is my favourite! who doesn’t love paris? it is that city that glows on the summer, fall, winter and spring. beautiful and romantic. you can also visit laura’s {flickr}, {blog} and follow her on {facebook}.
