{wednesdays on etsy}

hello there… have you noticed that it is already wednesday? how good is that? i am always very optimistic and wednesdays are from far an excellent day, from now on we are on weekend countdown! yay! today is our hunting day on etsy, and let me tell you that i had a bit of a problem choosing for this edition. i was having doubts because my latest etsy favourites were really good. but as i spent a lot of my weekend catching on some blogs and exploring new ones having all the time by myself, drinking coffee or tea… keeping warm, i had to choose this shop.

for those who haven’t had the opportunity to know me better or read this blog before, i am one of those in love with film. i own a tiny canon, with which i try to work my best, a lomo camera named holga, and have recently won an ebay auction for one yashica. i love film… i would have everything on film… and i will walk that way a lot more this year, i hope. since the {alt summit} event, that we have been hearing a lot on how to blog… what to blog… how to do it in an genuine way. well, since that week of interviews on {blogging} i have been always thinking about that. how to make it different… how to be genuine. how to be me. how to share what is important. and i believe that even in the rush of a stressed day or week, we should really keep it simple & calm.

photography is one of the most important things to me, but not also… i want to share things about where i live, maybe my random life… the random life of a 30 year-old-girl, that is not married, but lives with a loving boy 4 years older than me… that makes my life the sweetest one. a girl that has no children, nor knows if she will ever have. has no pets. because the apartment is too tiny to have any. so, i will not share my handmade wedding, nor parenting skills. i will not share all the cakes i bake, because though i love to cook & bake, i am not the best housewife in the world! i will not share interior styling tips, but will share what i love about some ideas.

i may share places i visited, food i ate… but i will not share all that i do during my day. i will not make this blog a “live my life live”. i will perhaps share some fears… doubts, conquests. things that help me find my place. that is the reason why i chose this name for the blog. but i will always try to maintain a joyful mood. because that is me. i smile all the time. i laugh in a very easy way. i live with mr twiggs for almost one year, and until now it has been quite a surprise. yesterday when cooking dinner i actually said “we should make a video for youtube!” we act like crazy people. we laugh. we sing. we act. we pretend. we flirt. we are naughty. we dance on the kitchen. i wonder if our neighbours ever wondered about us.

i am loving some stories i have been reading. some lives i have been discovering. there is so much to learn from that. there are some blogs that are almost like books for me. i read, read, read… entertain myself for hours. and having always beautiful and moody photography to illustrate those stories… even better! so i know… vintage & film. i want these to be strong words in this new year.
