i have been talking about weather… some of my latest images still have winter moments & landscapes, but i must be honest. i think that i might be starting to wish for spring to come… and feeling a bit tired of winter. i had given the {alert}, i get tired of seasons too fast. which means that by august, i may feel tired, really tired from summer, beach, sunny days, bikinis and sun rays on my skin. for you that live somewhere colder and with less hot days, beaches, and summer afternoons, you may not understand this whole thing. but this is me. and i think the spring mood has arrived. it started slowly last week, when driving to work, i noticed that trees were blooming and yellow flowers were growing all over the green rugs around the trees. yesterday i took a bit of that spring mood inside. could not be happier. ok, i could.
these are very common flowers around here. i really do not know how to call them in english, but something that is similar to vinegar. when i was a child, kids usually cut these flowers and drank the juice from it… that tasted like vinegar. well, never did that. but today, this might seem odd, but these look pretty good inside! and with a bit of love from {ilaria}, that sent me a crocheted garland made of small hearts! so sweet!
oh asides from this spring sneak-peek, i have another announcement to make. last week, i received a comment from {my paradissi} on the blog announcing that i had won a fabulous prize… {stylish blogger award}. well thank you, eleni! having received this award, i must… 1) thank and link back to the person that have awarded me 2) share seven things about me 3) pay it forward to 15 recently discovered bloggers 4) contact those bloggers about the award.
ok, i might have edited it a little bit… but i want to believe that no one will feel sad about it. the other one was a bit dark, and we need to improve and feel some colour! well, let us se… what have i not shared yet?
1) i laugh a lot… really.
2) i love to eat… and am not able to think straight if i am hungry. really, i get really stressed when i am hungry.
3) i always eat popcorn with mr twiggs when we go to the movies, which we do every week, and sometimes several times a week.
4) i would love to learn how to sew and knit.
5) i can spend hours wandering around taking pictures, alone with myself.
6) in the winter i eat hot milk with chocolate cereal for breakfast (yes, i wrote hot milk).
7) i do not like papaya, nor beet.
and the 15 bloggers are… (well, they will not be recent, because i do not have time to have recently discovered 15 blogs… nor will be 15). anyway, thank you ladies for being always such an inspiration!

ps: I used to chew on those ‘vinegary’ flowers when I was little as well! I loved how they made me cry from sourness!!!

Oh thank you lovely Twiggs :) These stylish blogger awards are great way of discovering new blogs! How lovely that you have spring flowers already, I’m really looking forward to seeing flowers here again.
