and here we are…. the last interview on {photography}. have you noticed that we just had another 4 amazing & talented photographers, that learned a lot of their way through self-teaching? how great is that? i saw {this} a few weeks ago and made me think. what does it take to be a good photographer? a professional photographer’ what do you think? based on what you started to think of yourself as a photographer? would you like to share your thoughts?
now let’s get going to the final interview… how would i define this lady? well… she loves to {dream}.
1. so, we are here to talk about {photography}… let’s start with a very important detail… where did you learn your way through {photography}? i have been taking pictures for quite a long time now. while i was a student of the academy of fine arts i used to attend various photography workshops, as a hobby i used to make portraits and portfolios. with time i discovered the beauty of still life and landscape photography.
2. what camera+lens do you use the most? for a few years i have been a lucky owner of a dslr (sony alfa 300) and a couple of “magical” lenses, which have broaden my scope of photographic activity. however, over a year ago i rediscovered analog photography. i pay tribute to classical photography, i am a big fan of lomography. i also collect vintage cameras. the kodak cameras produced in the 50’s and 60’s of the past century are my most favourite ones. pictures taken with these cameras are incredibly mysterious, they have that distinct aura and keep you in a kind of pleasant suspense as to the results of your “clicking” until the moment the film has been developed. most of time i’m using my 50mm 1.4 lens. i have a very long “wish lists” about lenses like for example 35mm and 85mm (dreams).
3. what is your camera’s best feature? white balance, high iso, noise control and the lens lightness (i prefer 1.4f-2.0f light).
4. three must-dos for you concerning {photography}! 1. take photos everywhere you are, 2. you must loose your fear of being wrong 3. look after inspiration in every detail of your everyday life.
5. favourite subject to shoot? i don’t know… i can’t answer on this question… love taking pictures of my beautiful friends, my son, my hubby… love hands, feet and legs… flowers… everything! as regards my photography inspirations, the light and the color are the two most determining factors.
6. after taking pictures, do you use any program to process them? of course, i edit my photos in photoshop.
7. in three words… how would you describe your {photography}? simple, bright, feminine, everyday
8. what inspires you to do what you do in {photography}? no answer (!!)
9. when you wander in flickr… what drives you to write a comment? the photo must touch me somehow, it should have awesome light – i looove it, and beautiful, bright tones, picture may have some mystery in itself. but… you know, i should leave comments more often, i know that…
10. would you like to try anything different from what you do in {photography}? i would like to not be afraid to walk the streets with a camera for fear that someone will steal it from me. i would like to take more pictures with different people, i wish i could travel more, to be able to admire and photograph new places, which in different parts of the world have their own mood, its light, unique color and shape.
